LEGO Ideas wants you to design a future Yu-Gi-Oh set

The LEGO Ideas team wants you to submit your best Yu-Gi-Oh-inspired builds for a future LEGO set.

A new LEGO Ideas competition challenges fan builders to share their favourite moments from the anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, recreated in LEGO bricks. The challenge is to submit builds focused on Battle City and Duelist Kingdom tournaments.

Although that can include anything suitable that you can imagine, some ideas for inspiration might be display models of your favourite duelist and monster battling it out, dioramas of famous duels, buildable monsters, and much more. Any builds entered should only feature duels, monsters, and characters from those episodes.

The winning build will have their model turned into a real LEGO Ideas set, earning them 1% of the total net sales of the product, 10 complimentary copies of their LEGO Ideas set, and credit and a bio as the LEGO Ideas Fan Designer in the set materials. The final winner will be chosen via Fan Vote, while everyone selected for the Fan Vote will win a bundle of LEGO Ideas sets.

In terms of restrictions on the builds, you can use up to 2,000 pieces and no fewer than 400 pieces. Entries are open from now until March 10. There are full Product Ideas guidelines on the LEGO Ideas website, and you can enter the competition here.
