LEGO Ideas wants your fan-made football flags

LEGO Ideas is looking for builders to submit their custom flags as the celebrations of the 2020 UEFA European Championship continues.

From a giant brick-built football to a new LEGO Ideas activity, the LEGO Group seem more than prepared to commemorate the 2020 UEFA Euros season with some interactive events.

For those unable to visit the new exhibit at the LEGO House or attend the virtual tours, LEGO Ideas are on hand to offer a themed event as their usual weekly activity. Like past iterations of these building ventures, there are no prizes on offer and these are just a chance to showcase your skill to like-minded fans.

The specific goal of the LEGO Ideas activity is to recreate the flag of your home country, or whichever team you choose to support with bricks. Some of the entries so far have introduced a few twists and techniques and should offer some good inspiration if you’d like to enter your own creation.

Builders are asked to avoid using any licensed properties if they wish to see the build potentially promoted on social media, but it won’t disqualify it from the event.

The LEGO Group may be looking to pursue football further later this year as some rumours suggest that Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium will be a future set.
