LEGO Ideas wants your model to be in Fortnite for all to see

A new challenge has started on LEGO Ideas that is giving you the chance to have your model immortalised in Fortnite for players to admire.

An exciting contest has just been announced over on LEGO Ideas, inviting everyone to create suitably spooky creations fitting in with the theme of the LEGO Islands coming to Fortnite all month. Everything from structures to flora is allowed but the team notes that you should keep your models scary but suitable for younger players as there's a chance your build will be displayed in Fortnite.

Since entries need to be suitable for digital display, there are a few specific guidelines to keep in mind and you can see the full list on the challenge page. The entry intake is open until October 29 before an expert review and crowd vote, ending with the winner reveal on November 18.

As well as the usual prizes, the LEGO Games team will be scouring the challenge entries for builds suitable to be displayed in a future LEGO Island. This will be accompanied by an interactive plaque letting everyone know that you designed the model. That opportunity is open to everyone but there are three physical prize packages to score too.

One grand prize winner will win a selection of LEGO Ideas sets and the entire Fortnite selection while two runners-up will win all four LEGO Fortnite sets and two LEGO Ideas models.
