The results of a recent LEGO Ideas competition have been announced, with the winners’ models due to go on display in the LEGO House this year.
LEGO Ideas recently challenged fan builders to get creative and come up with designs for models based around three distinct categories: Vintage Transportation, All Seasons and Celebrating Classics. Now the lucky winners of the competition have been revealed, with their unique submissions due to go on display in the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark this year.

The LEGO Group has announced there are three Grand Prize winners in total, each of whom also receives multiple sets including 21037 LEGO House, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder, 21340 Tales of the Space Age and 21338 A-Frame Cabin. The results were drawn from thousands of entries, but only a trio of models could walk away with the top prizes.

In the Vintage Transportation category, fan designer redera00 constructed the intricate and impressive Steam Tractor, complete with working motors, while J.K. came up with The Black Falcon Castle, an entry into Celebrating Classics that harks back to LEGO Castle sets of yesteryear. The All Seasons category was won by scarovich, with his Autumn’s Canvas build that ‘visualizes Mother Nature as an artist.”
The trio of winning LEGO Ideas designs are joined by six runners-up, all of whom get multiple sets for their efforts. The Grand Prize winners will have their models placed on display for at least a full 12 months at the LEGO House, allowing visitors to the location to check out the builds in person.
