LEGO Insiders double points event coming soon

The LEGO Group has confirmed that a new double points event is on the way later this month for LEGO Insiders, while rumours swirl of the next gift-with-purchase.

Double points will be available to all LEGO Insiders (formerly LEGO VIPs) across everything at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores from January 20 to 24, 2024. It’s the first double points event of the year, and according to Instagram user Brick Clicker will be accompanied by a brand new free gift in 40611 Year of the Dragon. That promo set is said to be available from January 20 to 31 with orders above £80 / $85.

This will be the best chance yet to pick up all the new 2024 releases through official channels – as well as late 2023 releases such as 10326 Natural History Museum and 21344 The Orient Express Train – while earning twice the usual cashback through the LEGO Insiders program. Double points is equivalent to 10% of your total purchase back to spend on LEGO.com and LEGO Store vouchers at the Insiders Rewards Centre.

10326 Natural History Museum will return £26 / $30 / €30 all on its own, for example, while shooting for some of the LEGO Group’s biggest exclusives – such as 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell and 76269 Avengers Tower – will mean reaping even bigger rewards. This is also a great early opportunity to stock up on smaller 2024 sets, such as the newly-released 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
