LEGO Insiders Mario Kart Spiny Shell is back in stock
LEGO Insiders will want to look away from the summer 2026 reveals for just long enough to get the Mario Kart Spiny Shell that is back in stock.
40787 Spiny Shell debuted with 72037 Mario & Standard Kart in 2025 and was quick to sell out at the Insiders Rewards Centre. Since then, it has fetched high prices on the secondary market and has only come back in stock a handful of times.
One of those times is right now. Among the excitement of the summer 2026 reveals and May the 4th, the in-demand LEGO Insiders reward is back in stock for 2,500 points. The model features 234 pieces and measures 10 cm high, 10 cm wide and 10 cm deep.
It has no pay features or functionality, and is designed as the ideal accompaniment to 72037 Mario & Standard Kart. It will, of course, go just as well with the newer 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 for a complete LEGO Mario Kart tribute display.
You can head to the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre now to redeem this item for 2,500 points, while stocks last. We don’t know when the LEGO Group will stop producing copies of the Spiny Shell, and this may well be the last restock for it.
You’ll need to place an order to receive your reward, rather than ordering it on its own. Thankfully, it’s May the 4th and it can be easily added to your LEGO Star Wars order for today.
