New LEGO Insiders Treasure Chest reward revealed

A familiar LEGO Insiders Reward has been revealed as a new Treasure Chest build is coming to the program soon with a seemingly simple build.

Stud City has revealed a new LEGO Insiders reward in the form 5008945 Treasure Chest as well as the full details of its availability and cost. At 154 pieces, the chest model looks similar to 5008325 Mimic Dice Box – but without the monstrous features

Instead, the new reward is more grounded but with the addition of what is likely a key to lock the chest and keep whatever is inside safe. It seems likely that the chest is as empty as 5008325 Mimic Dice Box was for you to fill up.

While 5008325 Mimic Dice Box was available only with the purchase of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale on special occasions, 5008945 Treasure Chest is launching on November 1 for 2,400 points. That’s equal to a £15 discount for comparison, but making a simple LEGO chest with your own pieces shouldn’t be too difficult.

Those impressed by the new LEGO Insiders reward can redeem points for it soon according to the source. November 1 is also the release day for both 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, 21353 The Botanical Garden and their corresponding gifts-with-purchase. A LEGO livestream is confirmed for November 7 too, though the chest may not be directly linked to whatever is planned for that event.
