LEGO James Bond set rumoured to be one-off Aston Martin DB5

The upcoming James Bond set is likely to be an Aston Martin DB5 at the higher end of the LEGO price spectrum.

While it may not be surprising news, Brick Fanatics understands that the recently teased LEGO James Bond set will be an Aston Martin DB5. As the official Aston Martin Twitter account joined the LEGO Group and James Bond accounts in teasing the upcoming set, fans have already speculated that this would be the case. The car became a movie icon in the 1964 film Goldfinger and by using that as subject matter for this set, there is potential for fun features including the ejector seat.

Perhaps more intriguing is that the set will retail for around £280 or more, putting it at the higher end of the LEGO price range. It is likely to be an exclusive [geot exclude_country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot][geot country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot] D2C set. Given the subject matter, it is presumably targeted at the same nostalgia hungry audience as the Ghostbusters 75827 Firehouse Headquarters.

This information should be treated as rumour until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
