LEGO Jurassic World sets encourage fans to ‘build a hybrid dino’

The new LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets will encourage fans to rebuild their dinosaurs and create their own hybrid creature.

As fans of the LEGO Dino and previous LEGO Jurassic World theme know, many of the moulded LEGO dinosaurs have compatible joints that are interchangeable. PromoBricks were able to get a picture of the box for upcoming set 75928 Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit, which demonstrates to fans that the limbs can be switched, and tells builders to ‘build your own Hybrid!’. The image shows a suggested hybrid, highlighting some of the compatible pieces.

Although the full range of new Jurassic World sets were not displayed at International Toy Fair, one set from each LEGO brand representing the theme was revealed. 75928 Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit is 397 pieces and is part of the regular LEGO Jurassic World theme, 10758 T-rex Breakout is part of the LEGO Juniors – Jurassic World theme and 10880 T-rex Tower is part of the LEGO Duplo – Jurassic World theme.

The new Jurassic World theme, tied to the new film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, is expected to launch in April.
