LEGO KPop Demon Hunters' first set is better than expected

Quick to design, but you can't tell from the final build

LEGO KPop Demon Hunters' first set is better than expected

The first of many LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets is out later this year, designed in a much shorter time than most builds. You can't tell from the model, though.

It wasn't long ago that the LEGO Group announced a new KPop Demon Hunters theme would be coming to shelves starting later this year. Just a matter of months later, and 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird has been officially revealed. For context, this is far shorter a design schedule than most models receive.

Despite being quickly created, we've found a lot to love in the first of many LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets. Check out our video review of this new set by clicking on the video below.

The 825-piece set recreates the animated movie's comedic duo of a supernatural tiger and magpie, complete with love notes from Jinu. While buildable figures are seemingly everywhere in the LEGO portfolio, this was a wise way to start the theme quickly and effectively.

More LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets have already been confirmed for 2027, but in the meantime, 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird will be available from August 1 for £59.99 / £69.99 / €69.99.
