LEGO launches new Creativity Workshop Series for 2025

Championing and supporting kids’ creativity is at the forefront of a new series of online and in-store LEGO workshops for 2025.

The LEGO Group has announced that it will be launching a series of in-store and online workshops this year, with the intention of sparking children’s imaginations and promoting valuable social skill.

The first of the LEGO Creativity Workshops is centred around the theme of Friendship and is primarily aimed at girls aged 6-12. Promoting the initiative is singer Nadine Coyle, a member of pop group Girls Aloud, who hosts the Creativity at Home Workshop, which will be available to watch for free.

The online workshop will provide details for how families can collaborate to create fun LEGO friendship builds, such as a memory box, photo frame and trophy. Those wanting to watch the Creativity at Home Workshop in full and take part in the various activities can eventually do so here, although the video content doesn’t seem to be live at the time of this writing.

“I love seeing young creators unleash their inner ‘awesome’ and connecting with each other,” said Nadine, “which is why I’m so proud to be collaborating with the LEGO Group on the new Creativity Workshop series.”

“My Friendship themed workshop is just brilliant for that – showing young creators how they can build something they can share with their besties. Seeing the potential for young people to build lasting friendships through creative play is so exciting, and I can’t wait to see how this workshop inspires their building adventure.”

In addition, a series of in-store Creativity Workshops will also be popping up in LEGO Stores in the UK, US and Europe starting in April, giving kids the chance to bring their celebration of friendship to life by customising a friendship-themed trophy, with expert guidance from Brick Specialists.

It’s worth noting that the free Creativity Workshops are ticketed, spaces are limited and you’ll need to register in advance for the events, so be sure to check with your local LEGO Store first.
