LEGO Marvel 6546713 Cerebro gift-with-purchase review

Available exclusively with purchases of LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion comes the bulky gift-with-purchase 6546713 Cerebro.

From November 1 to 7, while stocks last, LEGO Insiders purchasing 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion will receive a copy of 6546713 Cerebro. The model serves as a decent tie-in for X-Men fans, offering a far more detailed and large interpretation of Cerebro than the half-room that is included within the otherwise expansive 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion.

Stylistically and size-wise the gift-with-purchase and X-Men set do not match, but the gift-with-purchase offers detail and credibility enough as a standalone LEGO set, and certainly adds good value to anyone already considering purchasing the X-Mansion in that first week of release from November 1.

Notably the screen depicting Jubilee (the missing character from 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion) is printed, as is the 2×4 black brick with ‘Cerebro’ written on it. Unfortunately, the minifigure for Charles Xavier/Professor X re-uses the same Lex Luthor head that we see in 76294 and a torso that has been knocking around for over a decade already. It remains an effective design for the character, if a little basic.

6546713 Cerebro is available for LEGO Insiders only who purchase LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion between November 1 and 7 at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores, while stocks last.
