LEGO Marvel 76199 Carnage release date and price revealed
LEGO Marvel 76199 Carnage is now listed on LEGO.com, revealing the 18+ set’s wider release date and international pricing.
The helmet-style display model was first unveiled by Target, which will be the exclusive third-party retailer of 76199 Carnage in the US. But you’ll still be able to buy the set from LEGO.com all over the world, where it’s currently listed as ‘Coming Soon’.
The sinister sculpture has a release date of May 1, although US fans will be able to pre-order the 546-piece set from 8am Central Standard Time today (March 11) at Target.
That does mean missing out on VIP points, though, and this doesn’t seem like a set that’s going to sell out on day one, so you might want to hold off and buy it through official channels.
We already know the model’s US price ($59.99), but this is also our first confirmation of how much 76199 Carnage will cost in other countries. As expected, you’ll need to spend £54.99 to pick it up in the UK, or €59.99 in Europe. That’s in line with last year’s 76165 Iron Man Helmet, only with 66 more pieces in the box.
While the packaging includes the tagline ‘Assembled from the Spider-Man universe’, it seems pretty likely that we’re only seeing this set thanks to Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which is still scheduled to swing into cinemas on June 25, 2021.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
