LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 listings appear

Listings for two LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy sets have appeared online, giving us a potential idea of what to expect from the threequel.

Italian retailer Agrusti has added listings for rumoured LEGO Marvel sets with names for many of them matching previous reports. However, likely not final names of two Guardians of the Galaxy builds that align with rumours of two sets for the third volume may provide details of the models.

According to the listings, which have been translated so details may not be entirely accurate, 76253 will be a headquarters and 76254 will be a spaceship. The latter isn’t unexpected for a team that operates in space as they need to get from mission to mission. However, a headquarters would be something new for the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Here’s a look at the rumoured and listed LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets with the added names from the listings for 76253 and 76254:

Though the listings do not state the title of the third film, rumours suggested previously that both set numbers would be for threequel models. Provided this is the case, the Guardians of the Galaxy may be established enough to have a permanent headquarters beyond their ship. However, it’s possible that the listings aren’t entirely accurate following the translation.

As with all rumours, these have not been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group and should be taken with caution, though the listings suggest that a headquarters and spaceship for the cosmic team are coming next year.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently scheduled to release on May 5, 2023. Considering the LEGO Group’s recent history with Marvel Studios, sets for the film seem plausible. Either way, the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special acts as a prelude to the threequel and it arrives on Disney+ on November 25, 2022.
