LEGO Marvel X-Jet lands at Walmart early – and at a discount

A LEGO Marvel set due to release in 2024 has come in for landing at Walmart early, as well as with a tidy discount for American shoppers.

LEGO Marvel 76281 X-Men X-Jet isn’t due for release until January 1, 2024 but is already on shelves at Walmart, according to this reddit post. Not only that, but the LEGO Marvel model is already reduced to just $50 at the store, rather than its full RRP of $84.99. That’s a huge saving for a set that’s not even formally released yet, saving anyone who managed to pick it up a tidy $35.

Of course, there’s no guarantee on whether 76281 X-Men X-Jet will be in your local Walmart. After all, it’s not yet listed online and so hasn’t been formally released by the retailer. Still, it’s well worth heading down to your local branch to see if you’re in luck.

The set includes four minifigures, Cyclops, Rogue, Magneto and Wolverine, all kitted out in their classic comicbook costumes that make for some luridly bright outfits. Magneto in particular makes quite the splash in bright pink with a similarly vibrant ‘M’ emblazoned on the torso, just in case you can’t quite work out who it is.
