LEGO May the 4th 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer free sweepstake live now
Two new LEGO Star Wars sweepstakes are now live for May the 4th, including one for a signed copy of 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer that’s completely free to enter.
This year’s LEGO May the 4th celebrations include multiple sweepstakes in the VIP Rewards Centre, two of which have gone live today. The first is for a copy of 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer signed by designer Henrik Andersen (presumably, though it could also be signed by someone else – an intern, maybe?), while the second is for a mega bundle of LEGO Star Wars goodies.

The retired 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer is no longer available to buy at retail, so this is your only opportunity to bag the mammoth grey LEGO Star Wars UCS set without resorting to paying over the odds on the aftermarket. The good news is that you won’t even need to spend any VIP points to get your name in the hat, as the LEGO Group is offering free entry into this sweepstake – and you can enter once per day until May 7, so that’s seven different chances at winning the 4,784-piece set.
Entries into the second sweepstake, meanwhile, are available for 25 points each, with a maximum of 25 entries per VIP member. The prizes up for grabs include 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader, 5007290 Darth Vader Key Light, 5007226 Stormtrooper Notebook, 5007628 8-Stud Storage Brick – Stone Grey, 853946 Stormtrooper Keyring, 5005825 Stormtrooper Bag Tag and 5007136 Darth Vader Plush.
Eligible countries for both sweepstakes include the UK, US, Canada (excluding Quebec), France, Germany, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland and Norway. Entries into the fan bundle sweepstake close on May 31. A third sweepstake for a sterling silver R2-D2 minifigure will open on May 4, requiring 50 VIP points per entry, so make sure not to spend all your points before then…
If you need to shore up more points, the LEGO Group is currently offering double VIP points on all LEGO Star Wars sets as part of this year’s May the 4th offers. Three gifts-with-purchase are also available until May 7 (or while stocks last), including 40591 Death Star II, and you can score exclusive VIP discounts on selected sets in the VIP Rewards Centre.
