LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 rumours include mech and more
Rumours suggest that at least four new LEGO Monkie Kid sets may be arriving this summer, featuring a diverse range of builds.
The LEGO Monkie Kid theme expanded once again on January 1, 2024, with a quartet of impressive new builds. As well as 80050 Creative Vehicles, 80051 Monkie Kid’s Mini Mech and 80053 Mei’s Dragon Mech, earlier this month also saw the arrival of 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary, a massive 2,330-piece model that includes a whopping 15 minifigures and is reviewed here.
Recent rumours have suggested at least one more LEGO Monkie Kid set might be joining that line-up of builds in 2024 (80052 TBC), plus 6476261 Monkie Kid 5th Anniversary Cake GWP is also on the way as a promotional model at some point this year.
Now, fresh rumours have started to emerge regarding LEGO Monkie Kid, with Instagram user 1414falconfan revealing that four new sets from the theme might be arriving summer 2024. It’s worth noting that there’s been no official word from the LEGO Group so far regarding any such builds, so do treat this information with caution for now.
80055 Monkie Kid’s Team Power Truck is said to be a 712-piece model, making it the smallest of the potential new sets. It may well be joined by 80056 Nine-Headed Beast coming in at 757 pieces and 80057 Nezha’s Ring of Fire Mech at 1,163 pieces. The largest rumoured LEGO Monkie Kid set for summer 2024 is reported to be 80058 Celestial Pagoda, which might arrive with 1,621 pieces.
Beyond those initial details, there’s currently no information regarding potential prices, release dates or minifigures, but we’ll be sure to let you know more if the rumours prove to have any substance to them.
