Free LEGO Neuschwanstein Castle make and take announced
Select European LEGO Stores will hosting a unique make and take early next month, with a free miniature Neuschwanstein Castle up for grabs.
The LEGO Architecture theme will be gaining its next addition on August 1 in the impressive shape of 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle. The 3,455-piece set is based on the iconic location to be found in the Alpine mountains in southern Germany and represents an eye-catching recreation of the historical tourist attraction.
To mark the upcoming release of the LEGO Architecture build, official LEGO Stores in Austria, Germany and Switzerland will be hosting a unique make and take event. Shoppers who pop into their nearest retail location in those countries will be able to pick up a free miniature model inspired by 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle, one that offers up an alternate colour scheme for the building.

While the larger LEGO Architecture set allows builders to choose between autumnal and evergreen leaves for the exterior of the castle, the mini model instead opts for a white, sand green, tan and green look, resulting in an altogether different appearance.
The mini Neuschwanstein Castle make and take will be hosted at LEGO Stores in Austria, Germany and Switzerland on August 1 from 3pm to 5pm and then again on August 2 from 11am to 1pm.
There will be a limited number of the model up for grabs on each day, with the mini Neuschwanstein Castle available on a first come first serve basis (while stocks last). Those thinking of attending the make and take event are best checking with their local LEGO Store in advance to find out if they’ll be participating in the promotion.
21063 Neuschwanstein Castle will be released on August 1, 2025, with the LEGO Architecture set priced at £239.99 / $279.99 / €269.99 and pre-orders now open.
