LEGO x Nike Play Arena returns to LEGOLAND California this summer

A slam dunk attraction will be making a triumphant return to LEGOLAND California this summer in the shape of the Nike and LEGO Play Arena.

Fans hanging on for the first physical set to emerge from the LEGO Group and Nike’s multi-year partnership don’t have long to wait. 43008 Nike Dunk is only one of a handful of models launching on July 1, 2025, but it’ll represent just the start of the long-term partnership between the two companies.

Ahead of 43008 Nike Dunk’s arrival, LEGOLAND California hosted the first-ever Nike and LEGO Play Arena earlier this month, giving visitors the chance to take part in a range of fun activities. The good news is that the attraction will be returning to the US theme park this summer, running for longer from July 1 to August 10.

According to LEGOLAND California, the Nike and LEGO Play Arena will be back by popular demand, but coincidentally happens to be returning just in time for the launch of 43008 Nike Dunk and the Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection on August 1.

The basketball-themed experience offers guests the chance to take part in creative play and sports-based interactive minigames. The Nike and LEGO Play Arena features the opportunity to design your own LEGO Minifigure Athlete Trading Card, construct and display LEGO Mini Basketball Jerseys and take on the LEGO 3-Point Shot Challenge.

In addition, the Wall of Fame is also available for visitors to have their photos taken against, providing them with a unique keepsake from their time at the Nike and LEGO Play Arena.

That’s just the start of the upcoming events at LEGOLAND California though, with the theme park’s Summer Block Party and World Parade running from June 23 to August 9, as well as the next season of LEGO MASTERS filming at the location from June 20 to June 22.

To find out more about all of those events and to book your tickets to LEGOLAND California, just head on over to their dedicated site right here.
