LEGO NINJAGO 2023 model amends robot for Crystalized character

One of the 2023 LEGO NINJAGO sets references a heroic robot from Crystalized in a new figure, potentially giving us their first physical depiction.

Note that this article will contain spoilers for the Crystalized season of LEGO NINJAGO.

In NINJAGO Crystalized, a legion of robotic helpers, named the MiniPix, was revealed to be part of the team that helped Pixal build the ninja’s various vehicles in a short amount of time.

Unfortunately, all but one of these were wiped out during an attack on the monastery with the final MiniPix robot, designated MiniPix Seven, responsible for getting some of the team out of the burning rubble just in time.

During 2022, MiniPix Seven never received a figure but a relevant model to Crystalized – 71765 Ninja Ultra Combo Mech – including a Wu Bot as it was technically a Core model, though MiniPix Seven did deliver the mech to the team in the final battle.

Finally, in 2023, a closer depiction of MiniPix Seven in the form of a Pixal Bot in 71785 Jay’s Titan Mech. While not exactly the same as MiniPix, the included face design will be useful in recreating the heroic droid properly. It’s also notable to see a different NINJAGO robot included in the upcoming model rather than another Wu Bot as with the previous Core wave.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
