LEGO NINJAGO 2026 book with exclusive minifigure announced

A new LEGO NINJAGO visual dictionary has been announced, coinciding with the 15th anniversary, and will feature an exclusive minifigure.

Amazon UK has revealed a new version of LEGO NINJAGO’s visual dictionary, launching on October 1, 2026, for £19.99. LEGO NINJAGO Visual Dictionary Updated Edition will, as is often the case with these books, include an exclusive minifigure, as well as facts and details for various characters and sets from the theme. A draft cover image has been revealed, but is subject to change before release.

The identity of the exclusive minifigure has yet to be revealed, but with NINJAGO’s 15th anniversary taking place this year, there’s a wealth of possibilities for who it could be. LEGO book minifigures tend to depict a core character from that theme, such as Iron Man for Marvel or Batman for DC.

Prior NINJAGO books have included exclusive versions of Wu, Jay and Lloyd, but this isn’t necessarily a hard rule for exclusive minifigures in books. The likes of Harry Potter and Minecraft have had books with less iconic characters featured as the exclusive minifigure, opening the door for secondary characters to take the spot in NINJAGO’s October 2026 title.

LEGO NINJAGO has a roster of special anniversary minifigures to collect this year, as well as many other notable characters in 71861 The Old Town. What it hasn’t covered in this anniversary year so far is new minifigures of core characters. The likes of Digi Zane and Jay being transformed into a Serpentine would be suitable for the book’s minifigure spot.

We don’t currently know who will be picked for the book’s exclusive minifigure, but we know that the new visual dictionary will launch on October 1, 2026. Pre-orders are open now on Amazon UK, and don’t forget that there are new LEGO books with minifigures coming for DC, Marvel and Disney later this year.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
