New LEGO NINJAGO dragon spotted in latest Dragons Rising clip
The latest LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising Season 2 clip has revealed a new dragon character that has yet to appear in any of the newest sets.
Egalt isn’t the only dragon master the team will meet in the second season of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising as a new clip showcases one more featuring a vastly different design.
Compared to most LEGO NINJAGO dragons, 71809 Egalt the Master Dragon hat and other features set him apart with a unique look. The other master dragon in the clip is similarly different with a colour scheme that reminds us of Lord Garmadon, just as Egalt reminds us of Master Wu.
The purple dragon’s other design features include a thin long body and lanterns hanging from their horns. The clip also reveals that Egalt and this mystery dragon can speak, which will likely help in teaching the ninjas the new Rising Dragon technique.
Egalt teaches the familiar team members (and Arin) the new technique, of which the name is shared with 71801 Kai’s Rising Dragon Strike, 71803 Arin’s Rising Dragon Strike and 71802 Nya’s Rising Dragon Strike.
The mystery dragon has yet to appear in any of the latest LEGO NINJAGO sets, unlike Egalt in 71809 Egalt the Master Dragon. Rumours for the summer 2024 wave of LEGO NINJAGO include a dragon model, though it’s believed to be the biggest so far and this mystery dragon is the same size as Egalt.
The second season of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising starts later this month for some but for most, it begins on April 4.
