The LEGO Spider-Man: No Way Home set we’ve been waiting nearly two years for is finally out today, alongside five other brand new LEGO Marvel sets.
76261 Spider-Man Final Battle is one of two new sets anchored around the climax to a major team-up movie, arriving on shelves alongside 76266 Endgame Final Battle. Those two minifigure-scale sets are both built on black bases, becoming proto-dioramas for the LEGO Marvel theme – but they’re not the only sets out today. Two fresh display models are also available now in 76250 Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws and 76262 Captain America’s Shield, both of which should sit nicely next to 2021’s 76209 Thor’s Hammer.
76249 Venomised Groot, meanwhile, takes the (wooden) bones of last summer’s 76217 I am Groot and mashes them together with Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis for a set like no other. You can build the Guardians of the Galaxy character midway through being taken over by the symbiote using the instructions in the box, or download the LEGO Builder app to make him fully Venomised.
The August line-up is rounded out by a new 4+ set in 76263 Iron Man Hulkbuster vs. Thanos, offering a gateway Hulkbuster for the younger LEGO fan in your life. Next stop, 76210 Hulkbuster?
