LEGO offering in-store freebie for World Play Day
LEGO stores around the world are giving away a potentially substantial freebie for World Play Day, but only while stocks last.
LEGO stores often give away various gifts and smaller models at different times of the year but usually, the selection greatly differs by region. A new event listed on LEGO.com worldwide has confirmed that the latest giveaway will be held on World Play Day on October 12.
The event listing states that a free Brick Bag will be given away, with no restrictions mentioned other than the deal being limited by stock levels. Still, you’ll likely be best assuming that the free item is limited to one per person.
The capitalisation of Brick Bag suggests that this may be a specific item, but we can’t recall any LEGO products named Brick Bag in particular. Provided this capitalisation is a grammatical error, a polybag seems to be the most likely contender for the freebie as a literal bag of bricks.
However, it’s also possible that the item could be another kind of bag, such as the cinch bag and backpacks on sale on LEGO.com. However, these are more unlikely considering that this giveaway is taking place around the world and offering polybags would be more affordable for the LEGO Group.
