LEGO partners with famous footballers to celebrate kids’ wins

The LEGO Group has teamed up with professional footballer Jamie Vardy and football manager and former player Casey Stoney to celebrate children’s achievements.

A recent ad from the LEGO Group runs with the tagline ‘Celebrate like a Pro’, showing Vardy and Stoney celebrating with their own kids, Finley and Willow. The video encourages parents to show up and praise their kids’ successes in the same way we see both football stars do.

Of course, the two families are shown playing football and scoring goals, as well as building together using LEGO DUPLO. The voiceover states that properly celebrating such achievements is vital for happy and healthy childhood development.

The advert offers various tips for how to show up for kids when they do well, including getting down on their level, finding the right tone, and not being afraid of being silly with them. Both Vardy and Stoney act out examples of these techniques for us in the video.
