LEGO partners with Comic Relief for Red Nose Day activities

The LEGO Group has partnered with Comic Relief for a variety of brick-based activities to celebrate the Red Nose Day charity event.

Red Nose Day is an annual UK Charity event that sees schools and people across the country take part in raising money for organisations that support vulnerable people around the world. For 2022, that includes groups working to help those affected by the ongoing situation in Ukraine.

Following a donation to support the people of Ukraine, it has been revealed that The LEGO Group will partner with Comic Relief for the charity event. This will be done through a variety of free educational activities made available to schools on the comic relief website, inspiring creativity and learning through play.

A series of videos are available on the LEGO section of the Comic Relief website as part of these resources for schools and aim to inspire children to make habitats for the 2022 collection of noses, which are based on animals.

A variety of factsheets can also be downloaded at the bottom of the webpage, to educate children about different environments.

This isn’t the first that the LEGO Group has partnered with an organisation for an annual UK charity event as 30029 Pudsey Bear was released in 2011 with all profits going towards the BBC’s Children in Need event.
