LEGO Pirates is back in newly-revealed LEGO House 40504 A Minifigure Tribute

House team has unveiled this year’s exclusive set, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, which celebrates the 45th anniversary of by bringing back Pirates.

Swashbuckling minifigures last appeared on shelves in the now-retired

, and 40504 A Minifigure Tribute builds into an ode to the greatest pirate of them all: Captain Redbeard. It’s a large-scale minifigure constructed in the same style as 76393 Harry Potter & Hermione Granger, complete with the captain’s iconic hook hand and peg leg. He’s perched atop a brown board, which sits on a black base, mirroring previous House exclusives.

And as per 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder, 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine and so on, you’ll only be able to buy 40504 A Minifigure Tribute by visiting the

House in Billund, Denmark. The 1,041-piece set is due to go on sale there from March 1, and will retail for 599 DKK. That’s roughly equivalent to £71 / $85 / €80.

Just like the actual Captain Redbeard minifigure, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute includes a black hat with the ‘Jolly Roger’ emblem, epaulettes on his shoulders and his signature eyepatch and red beard. According to the press release, the model also includes a

House bracelet for his hook hand, and a treasure map that contains ‘a secret reference to the designers behind the product’.
