LEGO Pokémon 2026 sets officially revealed – including $650 build and GWP

The LEGO Group has officially revealed the first wave of LEGO Pokémon sets arriving in 2026, including an enormous $650 build of the first-gen starters.

LEGO Pokémon is kicking things off in February with three sets of buildable figures, ranging in price from £54.99 all the way up to £579.99 in the UK, along with a gift-with-purchase and Insiders reward. These are presumably not the only LEGO Pokémon sets coming this year – many more are said to be on the way – but they’re our first proper taste of the partnership between the LEGO Group and the Pokémon Company.

Check out all five new sets below. The three retail sets are available to pre-order now, with orders of 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise including the gift-with-purchase while stocks last.

72151 Eevee

UK: £54.99 US: $59.99 EU: €59.99 Canada: $84.99 Australia: $99.99
Pieces: 587
Release date: February 27, 2026

The cheapest and most accessible retail LEGO Pokémon set launching in February 2026 is 72151 Eevee, a 587-piece buildable character that sets the tone for the launch wave (because, well, they’re all buildable characters that don’t include minifigures). Eevee is obviously not to scale with the rest given its piece count and price tag, but it does have plenty of articulation in its head, limbs and tail, and looks as adorable as you’d hope.

72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball

UK: £179.99 US: $199.99 EU: €199.99 Canada: $269.99 Australia: $299.99
Pieces: 2,050
Release date: February 27, 2026
Pre-order now

A swift jump up the price brackets brings us to 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball, and if there’s one LEGO Pokémon set targeted squarely at the masses, it’s surely this 2,050-piece display model. You can see why the LEGO Group has chosen Pikachu for its ‘mid-range’ Pokémon set (at least in the context of the first wave), and the most iconic character of them all is displayed here on a lightning-bolt base with Poké Ball. You can also configure Pikachu sitting down next to it rather than leaping out of it, if you prefer.

72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise

UK: £579.99 US: $649.99 EU: €649.99 Canada: $899.99 Australia: $999.99
Pieces: 6,838
Release date: February 27, 2026
Pre-order now

The largest LEGO Pokémon set so far is also one of the biggest LEGO sets ever released, combining the final forms of the three first-generation starters in a single 6,838-piece package. 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise inevitably asks a lot of your wallet for that many parts – see the prices above – but in return you’re getting three hefty buildable characters on an unexpectedly detailed display base to headline your LEGO Pokémon collection.

40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection

Free with 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise
Pieces: 312
Availability: February 27 to March 8, 2026, while stocks last

Revealed earlier today, we now have confirmed qualifying spend details for 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection. Pre-order 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise and you’ll receive the 312-piece 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection as a gift-with-purchase. The press release suggests two different end dates for the promo – March 3 and March 8 – but chances are it’ll sell out long before either of those comes to pass anyway. The model includes all eight Kanto region badges inside a buildable display case.

40911 Mini Pokémon Center

Available to redeem in the Insiders Rewards Centre for 2,500 points
Pieces:
 233
Availability: From February 27, 2026, while stocks last

If you’ve got the Insiders points ready and waiting, 40911 Mini Pokémon Center can be yours from February 27. You’ll need 2,500 points all in, which you could otherwise redeem for just over a £15 discount at LEGO.com, and for that spend you’ll get a 233-piece microscale build of a Pokémon centre. Given you need to place an order at LEGO.com to redeem physical Insiders rewards, this is an easy add-on to a day-one Poké-purchase.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

Um… excuse me… no bulbasaur featured in the first two waves. I am straight up offended.
