LEGO puts Pick a Brick service on pause
The LEGO Group has put its Pick a Brick service on pause for the rest of the year.
Ordinarily, you can buy individual bricks and LEGO elements from the LEGO Group using its Pick a Brick service. However, the company has now put out a notice on its website saying that orders for Standard Pick a Brick parts are not available at the moment. However, you can still place orders for parts labelled ‘Bestseller’.
According to the LEGO Group, the service will be back in action from ‘early January’ onwards. Bestseller orders are still going ahead, taking nine business days to make it to the UK from the LEGO warehouse in Poland.
The pause in the Standard service is due to the LEGO Group ‘picking more orders than expected’. It seems to be an issue facing a number of regions, with a similar message appearing in other European markets, such as Germany, but not in the United States. This could mean the issue lies with European supplies from Poland, rather than a global delay.
Pick a Brick should be back to its usual business in 2023, but for now you can still filter to see only ‘Bestsellers’, which you can order at the moment despite the pause to other services.

I’m in the USA, and it has a different message saying that standard orders won’t ship before Christmas. Separately, the “out of stock” filter doesn’t seem to be working for me – when turned on, no out of stock parts actually appear. Is this the case for everyone?
