LEGO Icons' Halloween village is off to a strong start

A Halloween counterpart to the LEGO Winter Village is about to begin, and there's no doubt that it's off to a strong start with 11383 Mayor Manor.

The LEGO Group has officially announced the start of the Midnight Valley collection with 11383 Mayor Manor. This 1,420-piece set will be released on September 1 for £99.99 / $119.99 / €109.99, just in time for Halloween. In case you hadn't already guessed, Midnight Valley seems to be a Halloween counterpart to the Winter Village range, which has grown bigger every year.

Building off the success of that collection with a Halloween counterpart is wholly logical, especially when the holiday is popular in culture and in terms of LEGO sets and sales. Just look at how many Halloween sets there are each year, and the start of themes such as Wednesday. The people demand more spooky models, and the LEGO Group is happy to provide.

Even without the connection to Midnight Valley (which will be the case for around a year after this set releases), 11383 Mayor Manor looks to be a stunning build with glowing minifigures, several Easter eggs, and gothic architectural details to admire.
