The LEGO Winter Village has grown again today with a new train build, raising the total number of sets in the ever-expanding and festive collection.
The LEGO Winter Village collection is one of LEGO Icons' most notable product ranges, made up of builds that stretch back nearly 20 years and that celebrate all things festive.

1 – 10199 Winter Village Toy Shop
Year: 2009 Pieces: 815 Minifigures: 7 Price: £44.99 / $59.99 / €59.99

The LEGO Winter Village started in 2009 with the 815-piece 10199 Winter Village Toy Shop. This model would be remade later in the collection's lifespan, but this initial build offer some fun carol-singing minifigures, a simple but impressive Christmas tree and a fully-stocked toy store ready for Christmas morning.
2 – 10216 Winter Village Bakery
Year: 2010 Pieces: 687 Minifigures: 7 Price: £50.99 / $54.99 / €54.99

The LEGO Winter Village would expand in 2010 with 10216 Winter Village Bakery, bringing some fresh and warm treats to the citizens of the village, especially after they've had an accident skating on the nearby frozen pond.
3 – 10222 Winter Village Post Office

10222 Winter Village Post Office followed up on the bakery in 2011, starting a sub-collection of post-themed builds within the Winter Village. The snow-covered LEGO post office comes with a van (of which the design would appear again in a set connected to the 2024 Winter Village entry).
4 – 10229 Winter Village Cottage

2012's LEGO Winter Village saw 10229 Winter Village Cottage steer away from business-focused builds with a cosy home that also has some of the most minifigures in any LEGO Winter Village set to date.
5 – 10235 Winter Village Market

10235 Winter Village Market saw the LEGO Winter Village go back to shopping, but this time in the form of a Christmas market with an elegant carousel at its core. From the uniquely printed horses to the customisable layout, 10235 Winter Village Market made its presence known upon its debut in 2013.
6 – 10245 Santa’s Workshop

2014's 10245 Santa's Workshop started a range of more fantastical LEGO Winter Village sets by featuring the headquarters for the titular jolly red-suited figure. This set comes with a sleigh with reindeer (but not one with a red nose), the workshop, machinery, and plenty of elf minifigures.
7 – 10249 Winter Toy Shop
Year: 2015 Pieces: 898 Minifigures: 8 Price: £64.99 / $79.99 / €69.99

10249 Winter Shop remade the first LEGO Winter set in 2015, paying tribute to the original build by changing a few aspects, but modernising the minifigures and builds. It still shows its age today, now reaching 10 years old.
8 – 10254 Winter Holiday Train

2016's 10254 Winter Holiday Train offered residents of the Winter Village a way to get around the growing collection, and it would later be confirmed that this set in the story bridges the grounded and fantastical sides of the LEGO Winter Village. It would also eventually become just the first LEGO Winter Village train, and be expanded on the next year.
9 – 10259 Winter Village Station

10259 Winter Village Station from 2017, offers minifigures a grounded hub for boarding last year's train, complete with a coffee shop, a classic bus, a reference to the previous post office model and enough track to display the train at the station.
10 – 10263 Winter Village Fire Station

The cold nature of the LEGO Winter Village doesn't mean that it's immune to damage from fires, and thankfully, the LEGO Group debuted a team of firefighters for the expanding village with 2018's 10263 Winter Village Fire Station. The highlights of this build include the fire engine, the dalmatian and the shining gold helmets.
11 – 10267 Gingerbread House

10267 Gingerbread House took the LEGO Winter Village back to the fantastical side of the collection, depicting a gingerbread family getting ready for Christmas in their sweet home. The only question remaining is whether they are made of the house, or if the house is made of them (though this can be asked of every LEGO minifigure).
12 – 10275 Elf Club House

The LEGO Group would continue the fantastical side of the Winter Village in 2020's 10275 Elf Club House, connecting to the workshop model with a sign while offering the elves a place to rest their head after a hard day of making toys. It also upgrades the original reindeer builds with a moulded piece.
13 – 10293 Santa’s Visit

10293 Santa’s Visit bridges the fantastical and grounded sides of the LEGO Winter Village with an iconic moment in a child's life – when Santa brings presents ready for Christmas morning. From the light-up tree to the angled build, 10293 Santa’s Visit offers a new experience for the LEGO Winter Village, but with a hint of familiarity.
14 – 10308 Holiday Main Street

It was back to the grounded side of the Winter Village completely in 2022, focusing on shopping more than in recent years, with two stores, a trolley, a Christmas tree and secrets to discover while shopping for presents.

2023's 10325 Alpine Lodge is still available (but retiring later this year), sticking with the grounded side of the village through a beautiful lodge build, a festive outhouse, an ice rink and more to find inside the lodge.
