LEGO starts new village collection with 11383 Mayor Manor

A new LEGO village is about to begin with the newly revealed 11383 Mayor Manor, offering a spooky alternative to the Winter Village in the Midnight Valley.

After years of success with the LEGO Icons Winter Village, the LEGO Group is starting a new seasonal village collection dubbed the Midnight Valley Collection. The first release in what is presumably also going to be an annual range has been revealed as 11383 Mayor Manor.

The mayor of Midnight Valley's home is a two-storey asymmetrical building with an exterior that is intentionally falling apart. There are odd angles, weathered textures, and an old tree nestled comfortably into the brickwork. Look out for the stained glass windows, too, and it's not hard to imagine this as the centrepiece of a spooky village scene.

The interior is filled with gothic décor and period-style furnishings. This includes a suit of armour, a fireplace and a grandfather clock stuck at the stroke of midnight. We can already see the lore of Midnight Valley starting to be built in this first set. Other details include a table and chairs, framed artwork and a bookshelf.

There are three minifigures in 11383 Mayor Manor. This includes the mayor and two housekeepers, all with glow-in-the-dark heads. An exclusive cat figure is also included, which you will spot referenced inside the model. The mayor minifigure even features a sitting option for her dress.

This is the first entry into the Midnight Valley range and 11383 Mayor Manor will launch just in time for Halloween on September 1, for  £99.99 / $119.99 / €109.99. It includes 1,420 pieces and three minifigures.
