LEGO reveals Fantastic Beasts Grindelwald in Thestral-drawn carriage

The LEGO Group has announced the first new set that will be based on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

With the Wizarding World of Harry Potter returning to the LEGO line-up later this year, the first set based on the upcoming movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been revealed. Grindelwald in a Thestral-drawn carriage will be one of the new products, including Johnny Depp’s Grindelwald, a Thestral and a carriage that looks fitting for such an evil character.

So far, the only other LEGO Wizarding World of Harry Potter set to have been officially announced is 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall. Rumours of a number of new products based on both the original stories and the Fantastic Beasts films have cropped up, suggesting that Newt Scamander’s suitcase is one of the as-yet-unannounced sets.

The LEGO Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme will launch on August 1. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas on November 16.
