Mysterious LEGO Spider-Verse post revealed following brick-built scene

Following the LEGO scene in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a mysterious image has surfaced on the LEGO Group’s social media channels.

The LEGO Group seems eager to get in on the Spider-Verse sequel’s popularity, despite there being no sets, as a new image has surfaced on social media.

Posted to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with only a few emojis each, the strange image references the classic pointing spider-man meme that was even an Easter egg in the first Spider-Verse film.

This time, Miles Morales from 76244 Miles Morales vs. Morbius, DUPLO Peter Parker from 10963 Spider-Man & Friends: Funfair Adventure and a combination of Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Man minifigures from 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle are featured.

The presence of a DUPLO figure alongside standard minifigures is interesting and highlights the size difference between them.

It’s an odd array and suggests that the LEGO Group is only referencing the sequel following the film, rather than teasing any future models. However, nothing has been officially confirmed at the time of writing.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
