LEGO Star Wars 40288 BB-8 polybag revealed
A new LEGO Star Wars polybag, 40288 BB-8, has been revealed in a new image.
Brickset has shared an image of the upcoming [geot exclude_country=”United States”]LEGO Star Wars[/geot][geot country=”United States”]LEGO Star Wars[/geot] set, 40288 BB-8. This new, buildable version of the little droid is reminiscent of 30617 R2-D2 and is expected to be released as a promotional polybag.
It looks like the new build will use printed pieces, that are pretty specific to the lovable sequel trilogy character – but talented LEGO fans will surely be putting them to other use as soon as the set is available. The polybag for May 4 has not yet been announced, so 40288 BB-8 could be showing up for the annual promotional weekend, or at another time entirely.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on [geot exclude_country=”United States”]May 24[/geot][geot country=”United States”]May 25[/geot]. The LEGO Star Wars sets based on the film will launch on April 20.
