LEGO Star Wars 75230 Porg listed by online retailer
It seems all but certain that 75230 Porg is on the way, as the LEGO Star Wars set has been listed by an officially supplied LEGO stockist.
Back in March, a new set based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi was first rumoured – LEGO Star Wars 75230 Porg, before further information suggested an October release for the set. Now, the retailer BrickShop has listed the set, with a price of €79.99 and a piece count of 811 elements.
The cute critters were introduced in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as residents of the island on Ahch-To where Luke Skywalker is residing in self-imposed exile. So far, minifigure scale versions of the Porgs have been released in two sets – 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75200 Ahch-To Island Training. Last September, when the LEGO version of the Porgs were first introduced, Brick Fanatics provided a handy guide to introduce the new creatures.
The set is expected to be a sculpture, along similar lines to 75187 BB-8 and hopefully in a matching scale. How this will be executed has yet to be seen, but if it is as successful as the spherical droid’s release then it is likely to please LEGO fans.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is in cinemas now. The LEGO Star Wars sets based on the film are available now at shop.LEGO.com.
