LEGO Star Wars advent calendar rumoured to include 212th Clone Trooper

A new rumour is suggesting that this year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar may include a 212th Clone Trooper minifigure.

Plenty of rumours have been circulating recently regarding potential LEGO Star Wars sets for 2023, with upcoming models said to include builds based on everything from the Disney+ Ahsoka series to a massive Yavin IV Rebel Base. Now a new report has emerged revealing the possible inclusion of one specific minifigure in this year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar.

An annual tradition containing mini-builds and unique minifigures, this year’sLEGO Star Wars 75366 Advent Calendar is rumoured to clock in at 320 pieces and may be priced at $44.99. Now Instagram userexabrickslegogo is reporting that at least one of the minifigures to be featured in the festive 2023 set might just be a 212th Clone Trooper.

Until recently the orange and white armoured clone could only be obtained by purchasing the 1,082-piece 75337 AT-TE Walker. However, a much-cheaper option recently presented itself to collectors, as the 212th Clone Trooper was given away for free with Issue 93 of Immediate Media’s official LEGO Star Wars magazine.

It now seems as if the minifigure might be added to this year’s 75366 Advent Calendar line-up, presumably with a selection of characters sporting festive looks, such as 75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar’s unique C-3PO and R2-D2 wearing Christmas jumpers. There’s been no word from the LEGO Group so far regarding any such advent calendars for 2023, so do treat this information as pure speculation for now.
