LEGO Star Wars and Minecraft polybag sets for 2023 officially confirmed

Previously-rumoured LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Minecraft polybags scheduled for release in 2023 have now been officially confirmed.

Thanks to the Building Instructions page, we now have official confirmation of two upcoming LEGO polybag sets that were rumoured for release in 2023. Joining the long list of such promotional items due to be available next year are LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Minecraft sets that fans of the themes may want to add to their collections.

First up is 30647 The Dripstone Cavern, which is rumoured to include 45-pieces and launch sometime in January, 2023. We don’t yet have any images of the set, but previous similar LEGO Minecraft releases have included a minifigure of either Alex or Steve, so it may be that the build includes one of those characters as well as an additional small mini model.

The second confirmed polybag is 30654 X-Wing Starfighter, which is said to be coming in at 87-pieces and landing at some point in January, 2023. There have been numerous mini builds of the LEGO Star Wars ship released over the years, although it’s probably unlikely that this set will include a minifigure.
