WATCH: Rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2023 Clone Troopers could be game-changers
Three new LEGO Star Wars Clone Troopers are rumoured to be landing on shelves in January 2023, and they could be about to shake up the 501st Legion as we know it.
At the moment, our LEGO Star Wars 501st Legion Clone Trooper Phase II armies consist of precisely three different types of soldier: the standard units and Jet Troopers in 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers, and for those of us lucky enough to own one, Captain Rex from 2013’s 75012 BARC Speeder with Sidecar. If recent reports are to be believed, however, those armies are set to expand in a big way in 2023.
That’s because a brand new 501st Legion battle pack is supposedly on the way next year, and given it’s hot on the heels of 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers (which is due to retire this year), it’s safe to expect some variety in its minifigures. And indeed, the latest rumours indicate the LEGO Star Wars set will be drawing on decidedly different source material, as we’re diving into in our latest YouTube video.

Hey, I love what you do! There is a minor mistake in this (WATCH: Rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2023 Clone Troopers could be game-changers) article though, it says that there are three variants of the 501st clone trooper, the regular one, the jet trooper, and Captain Rex. But there is also the 501st clone pilot, from the Z-95 headhunter set designated 75004, making a total of four variants besides the three received in the 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack. Just thought you should know 🙂
