The upcoming Mandalorian set – which is based on the climax of the show’s second season, wherein Luke Skywalker had his own hallway moment with a squad of Dark Troopers – won’t be available to purchase through official channels until the beginning of next month, but that hasn’t stopped at least one third-party retailer in the States from selling it already.
Brent Henry posted an image of the 166-piece set on the shelf at an Iowa branch of Scheels, a sporting goods store found across the Midwest, to the LEGO Star Wars Fans Facebook group. The slice of Imperial corridor was apparently being sold for its retail price of $29.99, for which you’ll also bag three Dark Troopers and a brand new Luke Skywalker minifigure.
If you don’t have a Scheels store nearby, you don’t have long to wait to pick up 75324 Dark Trooper Attack through LEGO.com or LEGO Stores (or other third-party retailers): we’re just over two weeks away from its wide release on March 1, when it will arrive on shelves alongside three new LEGO Star Wars helmets.
We’ll be publishing our review of 75324 Dark Trooper Attack once the embargo lifts later this week, so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for our verdict. And remember, it just might be worth holding on to the box if you’re picking it up day one: the initial batch includes an artwork error that could make it more valuable in the years to come…

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
