LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia exclusive minifigure revealed
The exclusive minifigure that comes with the LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia has been officially revealed.
Thanks to an early listing from UK retailer WHSmith, we’ve now got a look at the minifigure included in the updated LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, due for release on April 17, 2025. It will be Emperor Palpatine as never seen before, with Sith eyes and dressed as he appears in The Rise of Skywalker, complete with red and black robes.

That’s a new look for the Emperor, having previously been dressed in all-black as the Emperor and only seen in red as a minifigure when still a mere Chancellor. It will make purchase of the encyclopedia all the more tempting for many LEGO Star Wars fans, so if you want to secure your copy, you can pre-order it now from WHSmith for £15.97 or on Amazon in both the UK and the US for £16.99 and $21.99 respectively.
The encyclopedia covers more than 200 minifigures from throughout the LEGO Star Wars theme, including new characters from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Bad Batch, alongside new variants of classic characters. The last encyclopedia came out in 2020, so there will be five years worth of new information to dig into.
