Limited-Edition LEGO Star Wars Landspeeder prints revealed

Two new Limited-Edition LEGO Star Wars UCS Landspeeder prints may be on the way as part of this year’s May the 4th VIP rewards.

The LEGO Group’s May the 4th event is now in full swing, with a variety of special deals on offer. These include free bonus LEGO gift-with-purchase items, double VIP points on selected LEGO Star Wars sets and more incentives.

In addition, VIP members can also be first in line to order 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, with the new UCS model clocking in at 1,890 pieces for £174.99 / $199.99 / €199.99. Everyone else will have to wait just a few more days before they can purchase the set from May 4. You can find out all about 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder in our full review here.

The LEGO Group has also now confirmed details of two May the 4th VIP rewards, including entry into a sweepstake to win two LEGO Star Wars sets and Anthony Daniels’ autobiography (all signed by the C-3PO actor), plus a UCS Landspeeder digital download poster.

However, there may be a couple more May the 4th rewards coming for VIP members in the shape of two rumoured LEGO Star Wars prints. According to The Brick Fan, those who purchase 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder can get a Limited-Edition Star Wars UCS print for 3,500 points with only 5,000 numbered copies available. There’s also a second Star Wars Landspeeder print reported to be available for 650 points, although that version may not be limited.

Some customers in the US and Austria are said to have been able to get the prints already, while others in Australia, New Zealand and the UK have yet to see the items appear in the VIP Rewards Centre. Even more intriguing is that the non-limited print is showing up on LEGO.com right here as a ‘free item’, but with a price tag of £6.99 / $6.99 / €7.99 and no option to add it to your shopping bag.

It’s possible the issues around the prints could suggest the rewards might not be due to go live until May the 4th or that they’re specific to certain territories. We’ll update this story as soon as we have any confirmation on the VIP rewards from the LEGO Group.
