LEGO Star Wars magazine 25th anniversary special revealed

A special 25th anniversary edition of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine will include two different sets of collectible free gifts.

LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 109 is currently sitting on UK newsstands, with the officially licensed Immediate Media title boasting a free 46-piece Imperial Shuttle model. However, of more potential interest to collectors and army builders is Issue 110, which will be published in  late June 2024 and is set to feature a 501st Specialist Clone Trooper minifigure as a cover-mounted gift.

Looking further ahead reveals something special arriving on July 17, with a 25th anniversary edition of LEGO Star Wars magazine marking the theme’s quarter of a century in 2024. To celebrate, the publication will come with one of two different tin boxes, tempting fans to pick up more than one copy.

According to Instagram user worldsofclonerus, LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 111 will include either a unique Darth Vader metal tin box, a Darth Vader minifigure and a LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper trading card, or a variant issue featuring a different embossed tin, the same Darth Vader minifigure and a Darth Vader trading card.

Similar tins have popped up on the covers of past issues of LEGO NINJAGO Legacy magazine, but the inclusion of two collectible versions with LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 111 and bonus items, could be reason enough to pick up multiple copies.

Both 25th anniversary special editions of LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 111 will be available from all good UK newsstands on July 17, 2024, priced at £6.99.
