LEGO Star Wars May the 4th sale might be starting earlier

The LEGO Star Wars May the 4th sale might be starting earlier than first thought, judging from some ‘in process’ sections in the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre.

The LEGO Group is working on some new sections in the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre, including the Star Wars Day Members’ Sale and the promise of some ‘new rewards’. With the beginning of May just a few days away now, we’d expect confirmation for international rewards and sale soon, with double points only just being confirmed for Europe today via a pop-up (but still no word on which LEGO Star Wars sets will qualify).

A closer look at the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre in the UK, the US, and Europe also shows that the sale appears to start on April 30, rather than May 1 as first thought. These sections are clearly still under construction, as evidenced by the fact that American-style dates are being shown on the UK site, so these dates could still be subject to change until we get a formal reveal and full details from the LEGO Group.

The second row of potential rewards also suggests that there will be some more LEGO Insider rewards for Star Wars Day, on top of those already launched for the 25-second film festival and the three GWPs that have been revealed so far. With only the promise to ‘stay tuned for more soon’, there’s no way of knowing what or when this content will be on the way, aside from the fact that we’d expect a reveal by May 1.
