LEGO Star Wars collecting panel set for Celebration Anaheim

A special LEGO Star Wars collecting panel has been confirmed to be taking place at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration Anaheim event.

Although it’s been postponed in recent years due to the pandemic, this year’s official Star Wars fan event will still be going ahead in 2022. Star Wars Celebration Anaheim is due to take place over the weekend of May 26-29 at the city’s Convention Center and is set to feature some star-studded guests.

Those attending the event could bump into the likes of Anthony Daniels, Carl Weathers, Daniel Logan, Ian McDiarmid, Jon Favreau, Katee Sackhoff and many other familiar faces from a galaxy far, far away. Fans can grab autographs and selfies, buy merchandise and attend a whole host of panels.

One well worth attending will be the LEGO Star Wars Collecting Track Panel taking place on May 29. The 45-minute talk is due to be hosted by The Holo-Bricks Archives founder Jeremy Beckett, Blocks Magazine editor Graham Hancock and James Burns from Jedi News. The panel will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Attack of the Clones and looking at different ways that fans can get into collecting LEGO Star Wars sets.

We’ve previously reported on two rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets that may be arriving this year to celebrate the 20thanniversary of Attack of the Clones. Promobricks has recently suggested that new versions of both the AT-TE and Jedi Starfighter could be on the way in 2022, although there have been no confirmations from the LEGO Group as to their possible existence.
