LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace 2024 diorama quote teased
A LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace diorama based on the Boonta Eve Podrace is said to be on the way in 2024 – and we might have just learned the quote that will accompany it…
The LEGO Group quickly established a template for the LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection with the first wave of sets in 2022: a black, tiled-off base affixed with two printed tiles; one with the LEGO Star Wars logo and another with a relevant quote from the scene depicted. For example, 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama’s is: “Do. Or do not. There is no try,” while 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama’s reads: “One thing’s for sure. We’re all gonna be a lot thinner!”
Eurobricks user Renown – who is known for teasing enigmatic details of rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets, and is generally very reliable – has now hinted towards the quote that might accompany 75380 Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama, which is thought to be the only new addition to the LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection for 2024. The microscale scene is rumoured to include tiny representations of Anakin and Sebulba’s podracers flying through Arch Canyon.
The quote teased is spoken by Qui-Gon Jinn to Anakin Skywalker just before the youngster prepares to take part in the race, and is as follows: “Remember, concentrate on the moment. Feel. Don’t think. Use your instincts.” Now, whether that will all fit on a 2×6 tile is another matter, so the LEGO Group might actually be plucking just a part of it for 75380 Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama.
That’s if this LEGO Star Wars 2024 set emerges as expected on May 1, which is the reported release date for the diorama – along with a flurry of The Phantom Menace sets, including 75381 Droideka and 75383 Sith Infiltrator, to celebrate the prequel movie’s 25th anniversary. See below for a reminder of everything said to be on the way this year.

Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
