Kinetic LEGO Star Wars model recreates Jedi Survivor gameplay

Though the game has yet to release, an inventive builder has recreated gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor entirely in LEGO.

Excitement for the upcoming sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order appears to be high for Ikarus_Studios as they’ve managed to replicate gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in a kinetic LEGO sculpture.

The gameplay in question was featured in the second trailer for the title and has Cal Kestis spin a double-bladed lightsaber around himself to hit a group of battle droids in front of him. The action of spinning both the lightsaber on an axis and the weapon around the minifigure is impressive and replicated using a Technic mechanism.

That device is then stored inside a black LEGO box with a brick-built landscape with an island that the lightsaber spins around. Add to that the custom minifigures and it’s no small feat.

While no LEGO Star Wars sets have been announced for the sequel title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has a LEGO model in the form of 75335 BD-1 available now on the official online store. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches on March 17, 2023, for PC and consoles. You can find out more by clicking here.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
