LEGO Star Wars rumoured to revisit a familiar colour scheme in August 2025
One LEGO Star Wars August 2025 set is now rumoured to revisit a familiar colour scheme – opening the door to a handful of tantalising possibilities.
Instagram user childish.landino.chronicles has teased in a new story that another dark red and white LEGO Star Wars set is coming later this year, specifically pointing to product number 75432. The story is accompanied by an image of 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship, 75401 Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor and 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter, suggesting the new model will follow in the footsteps of those three sets in colour scheme and perhaps even allegiance.
Very little is known about 75342 beyond a potential release date of August 2025, but if it really is hooked to the Republic with a dark red and white colour palette, there are a few credible candidates that could fit the bill. Top of the list is surely a V-19 Torrent, a Clone Wars set last seen all the way back in 2008, which would also open the door to new Clone Troopers and Jedi (as already teased for 2025).

Other potential options include a new Republic Gunship with more conventional colours – though it would be odd to see it on shelves alongside 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship – a Clone Wars-era Y-wing (which does exist in dark red and white in-universe), or perhaps even a Z-95 starfighter (last seen in LEGO Star Wars in 2013). There’s also the possibility that the LEGO Group could revisit Obi-Wan’s Jedi Interceptor, but that would definitely step on the toes of Ahsoka’s a little too much.
Whatever it might be, this rumour suggests dark red is rapidly becoming the new grey for LEGO Star Wars. There are plenty of in-universe ships in that colour scheme to justify it, but in the real world the reason could be as simple as there are plenty of dark red parts in circulation right now – so the designers can dream up new sets without having to use their fresh element budget on recolours.
Are there any other dark red and white Star Wars vehicles you’d like to see join the line-up in 2025? Let us know in the comments. For now, check out the entire LEGO Star Wars 2025 slate in the table below.

Something Republic red, huh? I can’t think of anything from Episode 3… Maybe a new TX-130?
