Further details of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker's first week of sales have revealed that the majority of copies sold were digital.
A new report from GamesIndustry.biz has shared more information regarding LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's launch week. According to GSD, 61% of all copies sold during the first week in the UK were digital. This follows a previous report that stated the game also had the second-best launch week of any boxed game in the UK this year.
The new report also details which platform was the most popular with players of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in the UK with PlayStation at 39% of sales, followed by Xbox with 34%, Switch at 16% and PC with 11%.
As well as beating high-profile titles such as Elden Ring in physical sales, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga also topped the charts in terms of digital sales for the week ending April 10.
It appears that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has had a strong start, at least in the UK, but the game is still set to receive more content in the coming weeks with the release of the previously-revealed DLC packs, including two launching for everyone on April 19.
