LEGO Star Wars Wal*Mart exclusive poster revealed

A LEGO Star Wars poster that was given away at just five Wal*Mart stores has been revealed online.

Artist Tom Whalen has shared an image online of the poster that he designed for a LEGO Star Wars 20th anniversary promotion at Wal*Mart. The Brick Fan highlighted his post, suggesting that the promotion had not happened – but it then transpired that it had, but that only five Wal*Mart stores had participated.

it was a blast working with @lego again, this time to help them celebrate their 20-year partnership with @starwars! this limited-edition slave I print was used as part of an exclusive walmart promotion in april.

It was certainly a short-lived promotion and not an easy one for fans to participate in.

Five sets are available in the 20th anniversary wave of products:

75261 Clone Scout Walker – 20th Anniversary Edition
75259 Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition
75243 Slave I – 20th Anniversary Edition

Further sets released include 75236 Duel on Starkiller Base, 75238 Action Battle Endor Assault, 75239 Action Battle Hoth Generator and 75241 Action Battle Echo Base.
